Process
Ambition Capital’s collective experience in social media strategy, investment banking, and executive leadership allows it to analyze and capitalize on opportunities within the marketplace. Unlike a traditional incubator where entrepreneurs pitch early-stage investors to earn start-up capital, Ambition Capital typically generates and incubates its own ideas. This allows our team members to use their complementary skill sets and collective intellectual capital to maximize their potential by turning ideas into successful portfolio companies.
Once an idea has been screened and selected based on our proprietary criteria, we hand-pick an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) to serve as the lead in developing the business plan and financial model. Simultaneously, we identify value-added partners and sponsors to facilitate bringing the new company to market. This approach works because it maximizes value creation. By finding and selecting the right partners, we integrate complementing pieces allowing existing infrastructures to be leveraged and new products/services to be brought to market. Plus, our partners are able to capitalize on an emerging market with a new business component without disrupting their existing operations.
